Villa Brancoli is a large Tuscan villa, built between the fourteenth and eighteenth centuries. During the 1990s, our family undertook restorations that resulted in a historic villa with fully refinished façades and welcoming interiors appointed with modern kitchens, new bathrooms, and central heating. We also added a pool.
Villa Brancoli comfortably accommodates fourteen to eighteen guests. The villa may be rented as a cohesive whole, but its layout allows it to be rented also as two self-contained wings, that can be separated (or joined) on two levels: Villa Brancoli Ovest, accommodating eight to ten guests Villa Brancoli Est, accommodating six to eight guests Both wings have their own parking lots, entry ways, kitchens, dining rooms, sitting rooms, library/TV rooms, and bedrooms, and are equipped with dishwashers, washing machines, and satellite TV. Both have terracotta floors and, in most rooms, beamed ceilings. They also have their own access to the garden and the pool that are shared between the two wings. The south-facing garden, accessed directly from each wing, has a panoramic view of the sweeping valley of the Serchio, the river that runs by Lucca, visible over the surrounding olive groves. The garden features a fountain, palm trees, centuries-old cypresses, topiary shrubs, and kitchen herbs. The villa’s pool, shared between the two wings, is situated on a south-facing terrace just below the garden. It measures 10 by 5 meter (33 by 17 feet) and has an even depth of circa 1.25 meter (4 feet).
